Another Fun Weekend

Parker's class has a number system for behavior awards. 4 is the highest, and he got enough 4's to get something out of the treasure box. He picked this to hang in his room.
Friday night, we went to the Tampa Bay Storm arena football game. Their mascot, Stormdog, was celebrating his birthday, so Bella got to go to the game too.
Before the game they got to meet Derrick Brooks. He is the President of the Storm and a Hall of Fame linebacker that played for the Bucs. They also got to meet some of the cheerleaders, Stormdog and go out on the field.

Parker was on Cloud 9 all night!
Chloe had a great time too. Here Bella had her I'm-ready-to-go-home look on, but not too long after this she dug into a piece of doggy birthday cake!
After the game, the kids got to go out on the field and meet all the players and cheerleaders and get autographs. Parker bought a Storm football and got all but 4 or 5 of the players autographs. He is already looking forward to going to another game to finish out his autographs. Chloe is only missing 2 of the cheerleaders' autographs. Parker wasn't that interested in getting the cheerleaders' autographs. I'm sure one of these days he will be kicking himself for that one!
Saturday morning, Chloe went to kids' cooking school.
 Chef Chloe
Chloe had a great time and has promised to make the menu they made at class for us sometime soon! They made cheesy garlic bread, fettuccine alfredo, chicken parmesan and puff pastry for dessert. We got to try everything they made, and I can't wait for her to make it again! It was delicious!! She is excited about going to more classes this summer and hopes to make it to the summer camp too.
After cooking school, we took the kayaks out fishing. I didn't do a very good job at taking pictures, but we caught all kinds of yellowtail jacks, snook, ladyfish, catfish and trout. Parker caught this bonnethead shark! It was a good fight, and he didn't stop talking about it for about 2 hours!
We also stopped by one of the small islands and found a ton of starfish and sand dollars. It was super cool!
We also found this huge sea slug! Definitely the biggest one we have seen so far!!

Sunday was church, a birthday party for one of Parker's school friends and the sponge docks at Tarpon Springs. We were trying to beat a storm moving in, so not many pictures to share from that either!
