Christmas, Christmas & More Christmas!

We started out on December 23 celebrating Christmas with Papaw John, Nana, Uncle Aaron, Aunt Katie, Uncle Caleb, Emily and Aunt Avri. Say cheese!!

After opening all her gifts, Chloe had to lend a helping hand to Uncle Aaron & Aunt Katie. They must not be pros at opening gifts like Chloe is.

Daddy got to see Parker's new power tools up close and personal.

On Christmas Eve, we celebrated at Papaw Larry & Mamaw Bev's house.

Whoa!!! Santa came! Chloe was in awe that he even ate ALL of the goodies that she left for him.

Presents??? I need a snack first.

I think literally getting stuck under presents is a sign that they may have gotten too much...

Parker's favorite gift was his Cars tent. He can really race through the tunnel!

Chloe's favorite were her Disney Princess dolls

Daddy put together Parker's car that he got. That's when Christmas took a turn downwards. Who knew something that came in a box that big would be in approximately 847 pieces give or take a few.

Next it was off to celebrate with the Fish Family for lunch. Mamaw Mona sang "A Baby Changes Everything" to keep the focus on the true meaning of Christmas. She sang beautiful as always. Parker however was busy using Mamaw Betty to get close to the food and have a snack or two.

Next we went to Papaw Peewee and Great-Grandma Hackman's house for supper. Parker hung out with the guys.

And of course, Chloe made her rounds to give hugs and kisses to everyone before we left.

This was the ride home...

We had a wonderful CHRISTmas and hope that everyone else did too! We are truly blessed to have all of you in our lives! We love you!!

Monday, December 21st

Monday we had our Christmas with just our family. Chloe didn't exactly hold back when opening her gifts.

 Parker ripped into the big dump truck that Chloe picked out for him.

Then Chloe and Parker helped Daddy open his presents.

Sunday, December 20th

The kids wore their Christmas outfits to church on Sunday. Chloe had already taken down her hair and decorated her dress with stickers from her class by the time we got a picture taken.

After pictures Parker tried to sneak a present from under the tree.

That night we went to Papaw John and Nana's house to make cookies.

Parker saw that Chloe was doing something so he had to get in on the action too.

Apparently Parker couldn't find the lid he was looking for...

Saturday, December 19th

We had our annual Christmas breakfast with Papaw Rocky, Mamaw Mona & Uncle Trav. The kids both ripped into their presents without looking back.

Chloe is into watching "Wow Wow Wubbzy" now. She has wanted every one to call her Widget for the past month or so. She got Widget and Walden dolls and hasn't let them out of her sight since.

Chloe was still going strong but Daddy, Mommy & Parker took a nap on the couch after presents. Mommy snuggled Parker, and Daddy got to snuggle Walden.

Popsicles in December

The kids were eating popsicles the other night. They sat in front of the fireplace because Chloe said they made her "tiny little body cold."

Hello?? Can someone tell me how I can get this blue off my lips?

Playing Dress Up

Chloe just HAD to wear her bathing suit last night. First she paired it with some of Mommy's boots for a snow bunny look.

Then she decided to dress it up a little bit with some red high heels.

Breakfast with Santa

This past Saturday was the annual breakfast with Santa at church. Chloe acted shy, and Parker just flat didn't like him.

After they ate, the kids listened to Santa and his elf read stories about the true meaning of Christmas.

Then it was time to make some crafts. Chloe colored a candy cane holder and made a necklace. Parker got creative with an empty bowl and made a hat.

Fish Lips

Many of you have commented on Chloe's "kissy lips".

She has taught Parker the fine art, and he has it perfected!

He has learned the #1 rule from her too - no getting out of a kiss on the lips!

It's all fun and games until...

First Hair Cut

It's very hard to believe, but Chloe finally got her first ever hair cut. I have trimmed her bangs, but Monday evening was her first trip to the hairdresser. She loved it!

Disney on Ice

Mommy and Chloe went to see Disney on Ice on Sunday. Poor Parker got left behind again since Daddy was at the Colts game. He was being spoiled at Mamaw Mona and Papaw Rocky's house though so I doubt he minded a whole lot.

Chloe didn't know what to do with herself when all the characters and princesses came out.

Chloe said her favorite part was Minnie Mouse.

She had a big weekend and was worn out after the show!

Festival of Lights

Indiana Bank & Trust puts on the Festival of Lights parade and fireworks in Columbus with QMIX each year. We helped out this year. Parker stayed warm at home with Mamaw Mona and Papaw Rocky, but Chloe was right in the middle of it all!

She got to meet Santa before the parade. When he asked what she wanted for Christmas she told him "a BIG flower".

She helped put together glow in the dark necklaces to give away.

After she got all her work done, she watched the parade.

After the parade, she got ornaments painted on her face.

Then came the fireworks! This was the first time she had seen huge fireworks like that. I think her face says it all.

She was worn out at the end of the night, and Parker had so much fun with Mamaw and Papaw that he crashed too.
