Happy 3rd Birthday, Chloe!!

Parker got to help Chloe open her presents since she helped him open his on his birthday.

She got all kinds of goodies for her birthday! She loved the balloons but her annual rose from Daddy was her favorite she said.

This is Parker's "I'm doing something I'm not supposed to be doing" look. We see it a LOT and is normally followed up with him running away. If you notice, he is already in a runner's stance in this picture ready to take off.

Chloe has learned that she has to give Parker kisses when she gives Mommy and Daddy kisses or Parker will come after her for one, and it's much easier to give him one on the cheek than for him to come at her with his mouth wide open.

I'm A Big Kid Now....

It's been a big month for Chloe. First, we ditched her beloved yellow paci and now she's ditching diapers! After a rough start and crying for two hours on day one because she wanted a diaper, things took a turn and she has done great ever since! Now we're trying to decide if diapers are cheaper or all the prizes that we are going through....

Parker is now on whole milk so he is growing right up too!

Party Time!!

The kids had their birthday party this weekend. Chloe hammed it up for a picture with her cake pre-party. I think Daddy thought that he was going to duck out of the picture...didn't quite make it.

Parker didn't dig into his cake much. He just wanted to run!!

Parker opened one present and was done. He just wanted to explore. Luckily, Chloe stepped up to the plate and opened his gifts for him.

Sunday was Women Fill the Church Day. They had SpongeBob, Elmo, Spiderman, Mickey and Minnie Mouse for the kids. Parker was not a huge fan...

Chloe was just slightly excited to see them all walk in the church. I think the whole church heard her screaming their names as they walked in. It looks like Mamaw Mona was pretty excited to see them too.

Happy 1st Birthday, Parker!!

Parker was dancing to the SpongeBob theme song with Patrick to start off his party.

Chloe kept telling us that she was "sharing" with Parker by opening his presents for him, but he didn't mind.

Typical one year old...all these new toys and he wanted the box off the couch!

It's officially a party now since we have on the hats!

Hmmmm...this is kind of fun...

But this is even better!! (Mental note...put down plastic over the entire floor next time and don't just rely on a tablecloth around the high chair...)

Chloe was chowing down on her strawberry cupcake when Parker decided "It's my party and I'll cry if I want to" so I went to put him in the bath tub.

While I was giving Parker a bath, Chloe came in and said, "I'm sorry, Mommy. I just wanted to be like Parker." I then found out how hard it is to get pink icing out of the carpet.

Watermelon Festival and Pictures

Once again Chloe found her Halloween costume from when she was 1 year old and paired it with a hot pink dress underneath and a red purse. I've said it before and I'll say it again...one of these days she is going to be a fashion icon.

Parker opted for a more traditional look.

We went to the Watermelon Festival parade on Saturday. Parker liked the little cars that go in circles.

Chloe got a hug from the Indiana Fever mascot during the parade.

After the parade (and a bit of a mix up with the photographer) we went to Papaw John's pond for a family picture.

Since we were at the pond, Chloe had to sneak in some fishing.

While Chloe was sneaking in some fishing, Parker was sneaking in eating some grass and maybe a stick or two.

A Huge Accomplishment

Chloe has officially been paci free for 5 days now!! I'm not sure that she will ever forgive Daddy for "breaking" it, but at least she is rid of it! Now if we can just "break" all her diapers we'll be in good shape!

Labor Day Weekend

We went to the Holiday Inn and Carribean Cove in Indianapolis to kick off Labor Day weekend. The kids had a blast in the water park and arcade!

Parker liked hanging out with Papaw Rocky at the water park. I would say Papaw looks pretty proud, wouldn't you?

Parker found that skee ball is a whole lot easier if you just climb right up to the cages.
